Having no internet access, though inconvenient, can happen at times.
That is why, we have come up with some troubleshooting steps to help you restore your internet service.
Rule number one of technical support troubleshooting is restarting the modem/router by powering it off, waiting a few minutes (just enough time to make a toasted pesto and cheese sandwich), and powering it back on.
Rule number two is finding out whether the issue is related to your line or your modem.
To find out, you need to get close to the modem and find out which lights are lit.
If the issue is related to the line, the DSL light will either be off or blinking (Article 1- Oh no, my DSL light is off...), if it is solid, you can proceed to "Article 2- My DSL light is on, my Internet light is off..."
If the modem does not display any lights at all, please refer to "Article 3- How come there are absolutely no lights lit on the modem?"
